PINK’S TIKTOK DEBUT WITH HER ADORABLE DAUGHTER SINGING

We have a feeling it won't be the last, either. Willow Sage Hart got her mother's talent. The proof is on TikTok. Pink made her debut on the popular app by sharing a clip of her 9-year-old daughter singing "Cover Me In Sunshine." WOW! Willow has a fantastic voice of her own. The TikTok video already has almost one million likes, with many comments praising the 9-year-old. This isn't the first time we've heard Willow sing. She was featured in "A Million Dreams (Reprise)" on The Greatest Showman: Reimagined soundtrack as well; she performed a duet of Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" for ABC's The Disney Holiday Singalong. Willow is a star in the making to watch. The other joy; watching Pink full of love and a proud mom showing off her daughter's talent. What a great mother/daughter duo! GEN Z IS TRYING TO KILL FAST FASHION, BUT IT’S ALIVE AND WELL

The low prices and wide variety have kept fast fashion alive and well. The number of people shopping second-hand in recent years has soared. Yet, there is still much fast fashion in the mix. If you don't know what fast fashion is, here's a brief description: clothing designs that move from the catwalk (often during fashion week) to stores in a quick/fast way to meet the need for trending styles at an affordable price. There have been countless articles describing how Gen Z is killing fast fashion, with the second-hand market set to hit $64 billion in the next few years, and they are not necessarily wrong. Predictions that the second-hand market will outgrow fast fashion by 2029 are a definite possibility, but that is only part of the picture - fast fashion is still growing. With the pandemic's beginning, fast fashion saw a huge spark, especially among millennials and Gen Z. Many contribute their continued support for fast fashion because the clothing is priced cheaply, and they can't afford more expensive sustainable brands. Another factor is that fast fashion brands will often produce a large variety of sizes that are harder to find in more ethically produced brands that limit their sizing. TIKTOK IS MAKING THE MOVES, INSPIRING KIDS TO TAKE DANCE CLASS

And studio-taught dance class enrollments are up because of it. TikTok is sparking interest in Gen Z kids to take dance classes later in life. Typically most kids in dance programs start dancing in elementary school, but TikTok is changing that statistic. There is now considerable interest among teens who want to start dance classes for the first time. This sudden spark in interest is due to TikTok showing what it's like to be able to move your body in really cool ways. How often have you heard, "Did you see that TikTok dance?" ...or... when a song comes on, you immediately think about the TikTok dance, seeing it in your mind's eye. What's remarkable is that older Gen Z kids have helped increase studio dance enrollment, especially with hip-hop classes. TikTok stars like Charlie D'Amelio and Addison Rae, famous on the app for their dance moves, are paving the way. Dance instructors are hip to the trends and have also started implementing some of the notable TikTok dance moves into their choreography for their students. You can go ahead and google a studio near you if you want to join. Depending on your area, studios provide both in-studio or zoom classes. Get your groove on! TIKTOK’S FIRST CONCERT HELD BY NONE OTHER THAN JUSTIN BIEBER

Donning his streetwear brand Drew House, Bieber held the first-ever long-form concert on TikTok. He performed many songs from his 2013 album with new background vocals that showed the artist a more mature voice and style. His audience joined and left randomly with the highest number of views for the Valentine's day performance at over 200,000 views. The live-stream performance was not only the debut of his album Journal but also a sign of his new shift in music style. Bieber performed with a live band, adding to the experience by mimicking a live in-person concert...on TikTok. It will be interesting to see if other artists start to use TikTok as a concert venue. INSTAGRAM PLANS TO LAUNCH MULTI-PARTICIPANT LIVE STREAMS

Live streaming and video platforms have thrived under covid. Yet, the Instagram platform still needs to do some catching up to get its streaming services up to date. Instagram plans to do just that. In the next few weeks, Instagram is launching the ability to do multi-participant live streams. Right now, Instagram Live only allows one other person or guest, but with this upcoming update, Instagram will allow up to four people at once. Instagram has reportedly been working on this for over a year now. They tested this new feature in India back in December 2020 with success. This new feature showed increased viewership by 60% more on live streams. While this might seem like a minor update, this could really add much value to businesses and influencers on Instagram. With an option to have more than two people on an Instagram live stream, users can now do interviews and have guests hop on to ask questions. Let the growth begin...for everyone!
