Mike Carnevale is Engage Youth Co.’s Creative Director. A graphic designer, Illustrator, and artist, with degrees in both Fine Art and Graphic Design, his style compiles influences that span from mid-century design and illustration to the Ramones. Working closely with the Engage team, Mike drives the development of creative strategies and brings them from concept to activation. Over the past 15 years, Mike has produced graphics and artwork for many brands, organizations and music labels, including illustrations for our new book, The Gen Z Frequency (Kogan/Page, 2018). In 2012, Mike was commissioned by the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign to design/illustrate a poster that would appeal to young voters during the President’s race for re-election. His artwork was personally approved by President Obama before going to press. Some notable past clients include Disney, Interscope Records, House of Blues, Goodtimes Skateboards and artists such as Soundgarden, Reverend Horton Heat, Turbonegro, Rocket from the Crypt, The Supersuckers and countless others. Mike has also been shown in art exhibits and regularly donates artwork to group art benefit shows. When he isn’t painting or designing, Mike plays bass in a 60s-inspired, garage/surf band.
