TL;DR Instagram creates a new feature, making donations to charitable Orgs much easier, but there is a catch, you have to meet the requirements to have the feature.
Instagram is not all vacation photos and food pictures; there is also a way that users can attempt to help charities that they believe in through the app. While many users are familiar with the ability to provide a link in their bio, there are also lesser-known ways of raising money for causes on Instagram.
Donation stickers on Instagram stories or even through Instagram live are a new option that can help raise money for a cause. This donation feature is only allowed for certain nonprofits who must be enrolled and approved to use Facebook Charitable giving Tools, as well as have a valid Instagram Business account. In order to make donations, you must also have your Instagram linked to a verified Facebook account. Once you have all these requirements in place, you are good to go. This is a great way to receive donations directly through the app rather than the link in your bio. Check it out and see if you meet the checklist requirements.
